Rachel Stevens shares Beauty & Fashion Secrets

Former S Clubber Rachel Stevens recently spoke with Express and shared her beauty secrets fresh off of her stint on Celebrity Masterchef.

Check out the brand new interview below and check out Rachel’s fabulous recipes.

Which beauty products do you swear by?
Sisley’s range of anti-ageing creams is great and I love the Eye and Lip Contour Cream. Lancaster Tan Maximizer makes my skin glow, keeps it hydrated and makes my tan last so much longer.
And I love Daniel Sandler Sculpt and Slim-Effect Contour Face Powder. It’s gorgeous for contouring and has a highlighting powder – together, they give a really effortless glow!

What’s your top beauty tip?
Drink at least two litres of water a day. And if you are feeling a bit pale, add some Xen-Tan Face Tanner to your night cream. It means you wake up with a bit of a glow, which is great in the winter!

What’s your signature fragrance?
Narciso Rodriguez For Her, which I’ve been using for ages. It feels sensual but also subtle and I always get lovely comments on it.

How long do you spend getting ready for a night out?
Being a mum of two, I can get ready in 15 minutes if I’m really organised! For a date night, I’ll take half an hour or even a few hours if I’m pampering myself.

Do you wear make-up every day?
Most days, yes. Sometimes, it is lovely to have a day off and put face packs on and do a hair treatment. I usually do that once every few weeks.

Is there a part of your body that you would change?
Growing up, I always wanted to be taller. But now I’m happy that I’m small. I’m 5ft and a half – I always have to add the half!

How do you stay in shape?
I go to a great ballet barre class and I love Pilates.

Do you diet?
No, I just try and eat as cleanly as possible and watch my portion sizes. I love food and it’s there to be enjoyed.

Is there a particular food you swear by?
Rice, because it’s such an easy food to incorporate into a number of meals, especially for a mum always looking for quick and healthy recipes for my two girls. Tilda’s ready-to-heat pouches are a lifesaver for when I’m in a rush! I’m supporting them in the United Nations World Food Programme initiative this year, donating meals to mums in need.

Who is your favourite designer?
I love Gucci for bags and accessories, but I really love mixing high end with high street. Zara is a favourite.

What do you do to pamper yourself?
A facial is my favourite treatment. I also love a manicure and pedicure.

Rachel is working with Tilda as part of its Mums Helping Mums incentive, supporting the United Nations World Food Programme 2017. Throughout September and October, meals will be donated to mothers in need in exchange for every packet of specially marked Tilda rice sold.
